Madrid derby again in UEFA Champions League semi-final as Real Madrid draw Athletico!

The Champions League final four has been decided, with Real Madrid, Juventus, Monaco and Atletico Madrid set to discover their semi-final opponents on Friday morning.

There could be a repeat of last season’s final if Real and Atletico are paired in the unseeded draw, while Juve are looking to win the competition for the first time since 1996. Monaco’s galaxy of young stars have impressed throughout the season on their run to the final four.

Pedro Pinto introduces those present in Nyon to the draw. ‘And then there were four. The excitement and suspense is increasing,’ he begins.

Representatives of the four clubs in the Champions League semi-finalists are on the stage.

Clemente Villaverde, representative of Atletico Madrid, former Monaco player Ludovic Giuly, Juventus legend Pavel Nedved and Real Madrid figure Emilio Butragueno have been exchanging pleasantries.

Here we go…

  • Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid
  • AS Monaco vs Juventus

The first legs will be played on May 2 and 3 and the return legs will be in the following week.
The final is on June 3 at the Millennium Stadium in Wales.
